Bright clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Light malts, slightly grainy. Mildly bitter floralness. Tangy thin dried fruits. Just a touch of zippy citrus. Light dry finish with a slightly grainy linger. Okay.

Cask half pint at the Queens Vaults, Cardiff. Deep golden to copper colour, small white head. Moderate malty aroma, a hint of toffee and nuts. Smoth mouthfeel and flavour, moderately malty but not sweet, a moderate fruitiness makes it very drinkable. The bitterness is low, hardly an IPA by any stretch of the mind.

Cask @ The Railway, Hebden Bridge. Amber with a creamy head. Has a full-bodied crispness with a very light berry sweetness.

3.3.15 Cask at the Bell, Wendens Ambo. The sulphur in the taste and aroma were so intense and unpleasant that I felt that I would need to knock it down a few notches.

Cask @ Cricketers Arms, Bedford. Noncommittal golden brown, decent full white head. Light aroma. Bit of malt and citrus notes with sulphur astringency. Taste takes a while to kick in, a decent sour bitterness followed by a bittersweet hoppy aftertaste. Good but not too distinct from other low strength bitters (it goes without saying that this is not an IPA).

Bottle from B&M, Halifax. Copper with next to no head, just a few bubbles. Medium to full bodied with a light session pale ale character. Dry with some fruit and a touch fizzy in the palate.

Cask at The Wig and Quill, Salisbury, Wilts. A golden/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes vaguely hoppy, malty, fruity. Bland and lacking complexity.
