Half pint, cask ale shared with Finn at Shakespeare's Head. Wetherspoon Beer Festival 24. Spotty lacing from a tiny white head, crystal clear golden body. Hints of citric scent and tropical fruity aromas. Taste of berry-fruits with toasted malts beneath. Ripe fruity ending. Pretty okay. (London, 16.03.2024).

Cask at Archibald Simpson. It pours clear pale yellow - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, some bread and biscuit in the malt base, candid citrus peel, fruit cocktail and a touch of sherbet. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, snappy, clean, pithy, zesty citrus vibes, grapefruit in particular, orange blossom, quite clean and some biscuity malt in the backdrop. Finish is dry with lingering bitterness. Average body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. Thought this was rather nice. Nice citrus and pleasing bitterness. Chuggable.

Cask handpull at The Barrel Vaults St Pancras. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Quite a fruity pale ale. Some berries some stone fruit. Dryness om the finish. Not very bitter. OK temperature lacks a little condition. A little earthy flavour. Otherwise I quite like the fruit.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell at 4.5% ABV.] A pale straw colour with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma; sharp tropical fruit taste with some sour lemon; then a tart fruity finish. Crisp, clean and tasty.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Clear copper with a small head. Has dryish grainy malts with a small malty-sweetness in its nose and a lingering bitter finish.

Cask pint in my local Wetherspoons on 28th Nov 2017. Amber bodied, off-white crown that fell away slowly. Fruity little number with tropical juiciness throughout. Too many fruit esters and flavours to pick any single fruit out, more like a mixed fruit salad with a light sprinkling of dusty sugar.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear mid amber orange coloured pour with a lasting creamy off white head. Aroma is hay, grassy hop, some sticky toffee malts. Flavour is composed of medium sweet toffee and caramel, hay, grassy hop, little orange. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, little creamy, smooth. Not bad.
