Town Crier is a full-flavoured golden ale with a big voice. The elegant straw coloured bitter has a hint of sweetness which is complemented by subtle hop flavours leading to a dry finish. The nose of crisp fruit is apparent with a refreshing balance of taste, a bitter which is supremely consistent and full of flavour.
Brewed using locally sourced Maris Otter malting barley and Worcestershire Goldings and Progress hops.
Bottle Notes - Town Crier is a bottle conditioned beer which contains sediment, pour carefully and best stored upright at cellar temperature 10 - 12 degrees.

Church Inn, Ludlow. Cask. Clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and smooth and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, light and semi sweet. Mild honey vibe and floral notes. Modest citric hops on the back end. Finishes light and semi dry, mild bitter linger. Not bad, pretty quaffable.

Bottle @ home thanks to Countbeer. Clear golden color, full sized white head. Aroma is pretty fruity and sweetish. Wasn’t expecting that. Taste however is decently bitter, a bit fruity, light to moderately malty. Average body and carbonation.

Pale straw coloured, slightly unclear. White head. Slightly sour aroma and taste. Not much taste of malt. More like a lager than a bitter.

Cask @ Kings Head, Bridgnorth. Smooth, light sessionable golden ale, Decent. Review from 2013: 500ml bottle at home. Fruity, hoppy nose with disappointingly tame, grassy flavours and vague glimpses of something resembling hops. Very poor.

Cask at Waggon and Horses: clear yellow straw colour big foamy white head, faint hop aroma, citrussy lemon taste, sweet malts bitter finish, nothing wrong with this, a beer I would have again.

Lyst friskt øl, tynt lag av hvitt skum. syrlig duft. Fin syrlig smak med en litt tørrere ettersmak. Greit drikke øl.

500 ml bottle conditioned, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. Plenty of sediment in the bottle. Very pale yellow colour, hazy. Moderate white head. Sweetish aroma with notes of grassy and herbal hops. The flavour is crisp and medium dry, with distinct herbal, peppery and citrussy hops throughout. Decent bitterness, refreshing.
