Old rating - 330ml bottle, pours red / brown with a beige head. Aromas & tastes of dried fruits, biscuit, toffee, earth, vanilla, spices & malt. Medium body. Light bitter finish

Appearance- amber, bubbly, hardly any head. Aroma- caramel malt, toast, raisin, brown bread hints, more caramel, trace of hops. Taste- dark fruit, plum, crisp hops, toast, caramel, malts. Fizzy mouthfeel.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A bright golden amber pour with a thick off-white head and heavy carbonation; rye aroma; rye taste with a silky caramel body; and a clean, dry, bready finish with lingering carbonation. Strangely satisfying.

Bottle from Beer52. Hazy copper. Rather prickly fizz but no head. Smells orangey. Taste of caramel, orange, spices (especially ginger), and a touch of earth. On the sweet side, slightly sticky in fact- only a light bitterness. The spiciness grows in the aftertaste. Like the spices (with the orange as well it tastes quite Christmassy!). Quite like it, but feel it needs a higher ABV to bring out the best in it.

Bottle. Amber coloured with next to no head. Has a clear strength to it, but a notable fruitiness too, evident in both aroma and taste.

Bottle from Cockburn offy, Edinburgh - Amber pour with off-White head. Aroma and taste is overt sweet with notes of caramel and toffee, biscuity malt, some medicinal herbal hoppy taste that is rather jarring, not a fan.
