Lavt skum. Aroma av marsipan. Smaken mer marsipan. Myk munnfølelse. Alkoholen skinner gjennom etter hvert.

29 June 2019. At Cambrinus, Bruges. Cheers to the family! Pours clear amber with a lasting, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of dried banana, candied apricot, canned peach, brioche, cookie dough, butterscotch, dark honey. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, lots of dried fruits (banana, apricot, plum) on a honeyish & brioche-like base, a bit bitter with an edge of caramel, somewhat perfumey too. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, doughy, lingering honey malt, candied fruit & a warming dash of fruit liqueur alcohol. Medium to full body, oily-syrupy texture, soft carbonation. A bit overdone but a tasty Belgian sweet Ale.

Pours a light gold with just a hint of a haze vs clear. Large head of foam settles to aboot an inch and ceases from there to recede.

It has the classic aromas of a Belgian Tripel. Hoppy, yeasty, earthy, yeah.

Tastes like it smells. Nice level of bitterness that compliments that Belgian yeasty character and overall so earthy. Dry as a bone in the finish.

Great mouthfeel and sooo drinkable. I am sorry that others don’t get this beer as in recognize this fits the style so well. Yeah, Silly is pretty much an overlooked brewer but. ..this is delicious!

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Stokmarknes, shared with Edit. Huge off-white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Bright and clear golden-brown body. Sweet aroma of brown malts joined by a fruity touch. Flavoured with caramel, raisin, and candi sugar. Integrated alcohol. Well bodied. Tasty, rather too much sweetness in the long run (21.07.2015).
