Bottle picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostaker, nr Gent, Belgium. Consumed Thursday 23rd April 2020 at home Attenkirchen on yet another glorious day, wall to wall sunshine, day 37 of lockdown :-(. Tonight is pizza 🍕 night from L'Olive in Thalam (an Italian restaurant in the next village). Dirty red amber in colour with an off white head that swiftly departed. Funky with some dried grass, barnyard and dried leaves on the nose, it's not as punchy in the aroma stakes as expected. In the mouth it's a full on lambic workout the tongue has gone into wtf spasms, it's being hit by a tartness, sourness dryness, and zappy redcurrants, yes my tongue has been lazy for too long and is having to put a shift in. It's my first lambic for quite a while and it's a full on acidic blast. Good stuff, but on reflection it's a bit too hardcore for me to get really into.

Bottle shared at Fierce. It pours hazy red with a decent white head. The aroma is musty, funky, dirty, barnyard, juicy, redcurrant, oak, jelly, hay, filth and sherbet. The taste is dry, tart, puckering, zingy, juicy, jammy, red fruits, redcurrant, minerality, pink grapefruit, sherbet, bright and tangy, funk, barnyard and dull acidity with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Bright, fruity, funk and pretty delicious.

75cl bottle @ beer share Christmas do, at The Coracle Dec '19. Pours a hazed reddish orange, small white head. Aroma has tart redcurrants galore. Taste is crisp, super fruity with soft funk, a nice sharp acetic edge and excellent red berry fruit character. Excellent.

Corked bottle, courtesy of Brian
Cloudy red colour with off-pink head. Initially the aroma is slighlty cheesy, then the sour cherry finds its way. Lean body, even weak, smooth mouthfeel, the acidity is moderate, therte is some cherry flavour but not as impressive as the aroma, and the finish is a bit short, with some lemon rind.
Very good.

Bottle: Poured a light pinkish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some funky barnyard notes, light acidity with some berry notes clearly noticeable. Taste is also a mix of berry notes with some tart notes, some oak with some light acidity and funky barnyard notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very enjoyable fruited lambic with right amount acidity and pretty good drinkability.
