A golden bitter, it is easy drinking and well-balanced. The beer's fruitiness comes from the Fuggles and Goldings hops. Its gentle bitterness comes from Challenger hops and the rounded maltiness is from the Maris Otter malt.

Cask at The George, Lower Brailles, Warwickshire, on our Morris dance out on St Georges Day 23-04-09 Called A Knights Ale in this pub which is actually named after St George as opposed to a former monarch I was informed by the landlord and landlady last night. Poured gold with a white head. Decent enough session ale, quite fruity and drying towards the end, a reasonable hop presence. A6 A4 F6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask handpull at Society Rooms, JDW, Maidstone. Egg and cheese mayo sandwich on the aroma. Not too good to be honest, but some Hook Norton yeast character does save it somewhat.
