Handpull cask at the Evening Star, Brighton. Light to mid-gold, clear with very little head. Ambrosial aroma with loads of melon, apricot, sweet tropical fruits. Taste is sweet with a balancing hoppy bitterness and a surprisingly dry finish. Light but weighty, almost oily body, with no carbonation. But it doesn't need it. An incredible beer.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear pale gold with a tight, creamy white crown. Light sweet flavour with a mellow funky melon note, pale bread, a little husky grain, white grape. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Finishes with some semi-ripe citrus, a little more funk, subtle grassy bitterness, tangerine peel. Interesting and fairly drinkable.
