Handpull cask at the Evening Star, Brighton. Light to mid-gold, clear with very little head. Ambrosial aroma with loads of melon, apricot, sweet tropical fruits. Taste is sweet with a balancing hoppy bitterness and a surprisingly dry finish. Light but weighty, almost oily body, with no carbonation. But it doesn't need it. An incredible beer.

Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton on 9th May 2025. Slightly hazy gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Tangy fruits and grasses in aroma. Zesty peel and grassiness in-mouth, and a finish of sweet and tangy fruitiness. Zingy mouthfeel and a light to medium body.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear pale gold with a tight, creamy white crown. Light sweet flavour with a mellow funky melon note, pale bread, a little husky grain, white grape. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Finishes with some semi-ripe citrus, a little more funk, subtle grassy bitterness, tangerine peel. Interesting and fairly drinkable.
