Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a clear amber-gold with small white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, orange and lemon peel, some pine. Taste of biscuit malts, light spice, citrus zest, resin, earthy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, slightly chewy. More going on here than your average golden ale. I enjoyed it.

500ml bottle: BBE September 2023. A gift from a friend, cheers Mike of Somerset. Drank at home on 16th June 2023. No sediment left the bottle, so I got a clear and clean golden pour with a good white crown of foam on top. Malty front to the aroma and taste, tempered by gentle citrusy esters and flavours, pleasant hoppy finish.

Bottle online from The Cheddar Brewery. Pours an almost clear golden/amber colour with a large thick creamy off white head. Aromas of caramel, biscuits, citrus orange, floral hops and a little toasty bread. Taste has all The same notes detected in the aroma with added grapefruit and big zesty citrus pith bitterness on the hoppy finish. Thin to medium body, average carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Decent and well made but also too much citrus bitterness on the finish for me personally making it a little too harsh.
