A medium-bodied premium lager at 4.8% ABV, containing Italian sea salt for full flavoured refreshment. Birra Moretti Sale Di Mare is unfiltered and therefore slightly hazy in colour, the extra hop aromas give a slightly fuller taste than Birra Moretti L’Autentica, with herbal aromas of citrus and pine. Containing a hint of Italian sea salt for full flavoured refreshment, the flavour profile creates a refreshing beer with a smooth, rounded finish.

Brewed by Heineken UK and Heineken Romania.

slightly opalescent golden colour, one inch of dense ecru-ish white head; aroma fruity, linden honey, grainy, and slight herbal notes; taste of hoppy bitterness and the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; surprisingly enjoable

Not a brilliant lager but seemed to be an appropriate one to drink while watching the Italy/Wales match in the 6 Nations. Bought at Tesco, drank at home.

660ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a white head & strong carbonation. Aromas & tastes of flora, fruit, cereal, grass, hints of salt & light malt. Moderate body. Crisp light bitter finish. Enjoyable

Bottle from Sainsbury's and drunk at home. As I opened the bottle you could actually smell the hop flowers. Impressive. Slight haze dark gold colour lasting white head. Hop flower aroma. No such going on in the mouth. Some pale malt. Then some white flower white pepper flavour in the mouth. Not huge character but a lot better than I was expecting. Decent lager. With a decent finish.

UK version @ 4.8% in a 660ml bottle from Tesco. Deep golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Malty aroma with a trace of sea air and lemon fruit. Flavour was also predominantly malty, with a hint of fruity sweetness and a suggestion of the salt in the finish. A competent lager.

Imagine a mass produced lager, right, but there'd a little salt to it. It's fine, it's not unpleasant, but it's just a Moretti with a very slight twice so your mileage may vary but for me it's just fine.

Keg @ Horn In Hand, Nottingham. Quite a pleasant unfiltered lager, although ordinary in aroma. Golden with a creamy head, it's crisp enough and flavoursome in its lager malt.

[66cl bottle from Sainsbury's; brewed in the UK at 4.8% ABV.] A hazy pale amber pour with a loose off-white head; fruity grain aroma; quite fruity cereal grain taste; then a light bitterness and a rather salty aftertaste.

660ml bottle: BB 31st May 2025, drank at home with a Pulled-chicken Chili dish on 10th June 2024. Almost clear golden body, short lived white head. It does have a slight salty undertone and that sets it apart from other Moretti lagers, which is a good thing really!

Big boy bottle from Tesco, 4.8% brewed in Edinburgh. It pours clear golden - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is damp grass, leafy, quite savoury, salty cracker, bready, toasty grains and floral accents. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, the saltiness appears early and lingers, salted crackers, toasty grain, crispy biscuit, breast malt, damp grass and leafy with a drying, slightly salty finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Salty edge works quite well actually. Very drinkable.
