Copper ale with a malt-fruit aroma. Strong bitter-fruit taste with malt-roast backbone. Bitterness and fruit linger on the palate with roasted bitterness.

500ml bottle from Dart's Farm: BBE June 2024, poured into a UK pint sized vase shaped glass at home on 23rd February 2024, beer number three in a mini tasting with myself and no one else! Oh dear, came out the bottle and it looks a bit sad, slight haze to the brown/mahogany body, wisp for a head, smells like it's been 'skunked in the sun', tastes like it's been 'skunked in the sun', think it might have been on display in the sun or at least bright lights before being put back in the rack for sale. This is not the first time I've had beers in 'shit' condition from Dart's Farm to be honest. When I've finished writing this I'm revisiting my review of the place and downgrading my score!

Cask @ JDW Montgomery's Tower. Pours deep amber, off-white crown. Nutty malt on the nose, continuing to the taste. A touch watery, some unpleasant off-flavours, light bitterness, perhaps on its way out. Rated objectively.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Mid chestnut with a loose cream head; floral aroma; light sweet malty taste; and a decent amount of herbal bitterness to finish. A good, well-balanced bitter.
