The triple choclate stout is a unique interpretation of the style, combining three different chocolate malts, cacao nibs and 63 percent semi-sweet chocolate, making it a sinfully delicious brew. The addition of blackstrap molasses produces an earthy, caramelized tone in an already complex flavor profile. It's creamy, milkshake-like mouthfeel earns this beer the distinction of being dessert in glass.

12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse. Dark brown color with a small head, but good retention. Aroma is BIG chocolate and roasted grain. Taste has a lactic tartness with chocolate, fruit and grain notes. Kinda like combining fruity pebbles with cocoa pebbles. Medium bodied. Soft carb.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Near black, minimal head. Cardboardy nose with some cranberries. Sweetish with mushy molasses covering a hard, edgy core of metallic malt. Chocoalte is vague, unpleasant lactic acidity is strong, and so is blood and sharp metal. Really unbalanced and aggressive. I couldn’t even finish half of it.

Had this at Chris O’s pre GBBF tasting, 02-08-08 cheers for a wonderful day Chris Big solid chocolatey taste a bit like a flak has been crumbled into your beer. Some light coffee then mingles with the rich cocoa, little bit of fizziness on the tongue, very nice.

22oz bomber. Deep black color with a moderate rusty head. Rich and creamy, with a great chocolate taste. Has a little crisp hoppiness to accompany and compliment the sweetness. Very well done, with a big body that isn’t overwhelmed by alcohol. There is a little fruity pungent taste somewhere deep in there.

Super deep brown coloured body with a thinnish light brown head. Aroma of cherries, molasses, ginger, roasted malt and a very heavy dose of licorice. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong alcohol taste up front with a good malt backbone and a bunch of deep spices showing afterwards with star anise the most common. Aftertaste shows some malt, alcohol and a lot of spice still. Overall, a very nice beer - very sweet but obviously a lot of spices stand out! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Kybecca in Fredericksburg, Virginia on 02-June-2008.

This stout poured the usual black colour with a nice creamy brown head. To the nose I could smell cocoa, vineger, burnt malts and oats. First taste was smooth. Although for a "triple Chocolate stout" there isn’t much chocolate flavour. Flavours of burnt malt at first with a little cocoa and a slight hop at the end. The palate is burnt like a stout should be with a little hop finish. Very good but need alot more chocolate!
