The triple choclate stout is a unique interpretation of the style, combining three different chocolate malts, cacao nibs and 63 percent semi-sweet chocolate, making it a sinfully delicious brew. The addition of blackstrap molasses produces an earthy, caramelized tone in an already complex flavor profile. It's creamy, milkshake-like mouthfeel earns this beer the distinction of being dessert in glass.

Dark brown, thick mocha head. aroma, definitely lactic, fruity nose, molasses. flavors, coffee, mocha, palate is just too fizzy wit the lactose profile ruining the experience adding a pungent lactic sourness. Starts off nice, with nice mocha/coffee roasted malt profile. Somehow the lactic notes is going along with a carbonation that was a tad too high and fizzy, giving this bad lactic funk. Lactose side ruins it for me.

12 oz bottle. Pours extremely deep brown with a tan head. Creamy chocolate aroma with strong vanilla and caramel. Flavor is disappointing in comparison: some ashy cocoa and coffee, with a thin quality revealing some alcohol. Great aroma, but the flavor just doesn’t follow through.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a sweetish malty chocolate aroma with some weak hints of coffee and some weak hints of hops. Sweetish malty chocolate flavor with hints of coffee and molasses. Has a sweetish malty chocolate finish.

Bottle: Poured a oil can black with a light brown cream head. The aroma is full of chocolate and alcohol. The taste strikes first with dark rich chocolate, then leaves a nice biter hops and alcohol warming finish.

Bomber bottle...aged for 18 months or more.....consumed 7-18-09....Rich chocolaty aroma wrapped in chocolate...with age it brings a richness ......it looks lovely dark and dark...rich roasted coffee beans and sweet dark chocolate fill my nose...viscous body with similar flavors to the aroma except both the coffee and chocolate take on a bitterness...this is very good...I cant find anything wrong with it

Bottle and draught, Spring 2008 at Sunset Grill. Very thick, viscous-looking mahogany-to-black body with a dense tan head. Tar and chocolate rise up from the liquid, with cinnamon??? and other such spices coming in as well. Very rich nose to it, with vanilla as an afterthought. In the mouth it’s somewhat less chewy/thick than expected, with a more dried-out mouthfeel, thanks in part to the spiciness. They don’t really say anything about spice additions, but man is this stuff full of cinnamon. To the point of it being way too much. Chocolate element is well-done and would have been highly pleasant without the dry, fatiguing spiciness. Vanilla and sweet caramel round out the finish, with little in the way of roast or bitterness. Some floral hop notes are appreciated but lend little to the overall character of the beer. Too spicy!

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 9 Nov 2008) Black colour with brief, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with dark chocolate, coffee, burnt sugar, mocha and chocolate truffles. Roasted, malty taste with notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, strong black coffee, molasses (or dark rhum) and a decent cocoa bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Nice and chocolatey porter/stout. In short: sweet cocoa and espresso.

Bottled F6! Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours really dark brown with a large tan head. Aromas of dark toasted malt and coffee and chocolate. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is lightly sweet with a little balancing bitter - but whether hop or burnt malt is questionable. It’s very pleasant, but it’s not exactly outstanding. I’d drink it anytime.
