hazy reddish-brown colour, one inch of quite stable and dense beige-ish head; aroma of toasted rye bread, some roasted nuts, burnt honey and slight licorice; taste has the same notes with minimal herbal liqueur notes; good one

0,5 flaske (5,7%) fra Rema 1000 Nørrebro, delt med Kitty i lejligheden: klar mørk brunrød rav med fint skum som varer helt ned. Karamelliserte juletoner med hint av krydder, svisker, tørkede frukter og brente mandler. Fin bitterhed i afslutningen. Mersmag, og julestemningen begynner å vise seg.

Bottle, 5.7%. Nearly clear brown, lasting beige froth. Malty, bready aroma. Caramely, malty flavour. Faint licorice notes. Light hoppy bitterness and a little metal in the finish.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - brown pour with small white head. Sweet malty with some dark dried fruit, raisins and sultana, nutty, cakey, not bad. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 cl. bottle. Dark brown colour with a lighter, golden hue. Small, creamy off-white head. Spicy and malty aroma with caramel and bread malts, lightly roasted, Christmas spices: Cinnamon and brown cookies. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a bit thin creaminess, soft carbonation. Short sweet finish with licorice, malts and spices. Okay, not outstanding and true Christmas-like.
