Hand pulled half pint in my local Spoons on 16th December 2025. Red hue to the amber body, off white crust on top. Malty, fruity and slightly herbal nose, taste similar.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A pale chestnut coloured pour with a loose cream head; malty aroma; creamy in the mouth with some fruity malts; then a nutty finish. Easy drinking but not very interesting. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Goodwill Bitter on 19 Jan 2007 at 10:58 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Bottle. Chestnut with a tan head; caramel aroma; roasted malt flavours with a hint of spice and a citric sharp bitter aftertaste. Pleasant enough, but doesn’t really grab my attention.

Cask at Archie's. It pours deep mahogany brown with with a thick off-white head. The aroma is rich malty action, wood, leather, brown bread, fruit cake and spice. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, dried fruits, berry, some spice, wood, leather, fruit cake with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great condition. Well rounded and rather drinkable. Good festive ale.
