Bottle shared to Danny. It pours clear deep red - brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, rich, sticky, sweet potato casserole, toffee, honeycomb and dried fruits. The taste is dry, bitter, rivita, varnish, dried fruits, brown sugar, sweet potato, toffee, alcohol hit, chewy and sticky action with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A touch sweet perhaps. Not bad.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Daniel. Pours clear amber with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma has some berries, brown bread, cherry. Light to medium sweet flavour with toasted grains, figs, berries, a little earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with bready sugars, more berries. So so overall.

(Bottle) Pours clear mahogany brown with no head. Pleasant aroma - candy / caramel with hints of bread, raisins. Medium body with reasonable carbonation. Taste is sweet but not unbalanced; there’s some tart notes in the foretaste and a hint of bitterness in the finish. The sweetness is caramel toffee. There’s some interesting peppery spicy boozy otes in the mid palate. Pleasant and unusual, wouldn’t know it was sweet potato.

333ml bottle. Poured mahogany color with a thick white head. Sweet malty, cereals, toast. Had this quite warm, but don’t get that much aroma of it. Flavor has sweetness, caramel malt, biscuity notes and toast. Long sweet finish. Hides 7% well but quite dull. Quite bulky at times.

Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Malts are mildly tangy and have a thin creamy sweetness. There is a sweet spud vibe in the mid. More of the white sweet spud than the orange variety. Mild floralness and a whisper of marmalade. Light semi dry finish. Hangs together well enough and it’s quite interesting.
