This is a cold-mashed imperial stout with huge amounts of barley and wheat. Contains cocoa-nibs from Nortico in Costa Rica, which is fermented and roasted to suit this bourbon barrel aged stout.

330 ml can. Pours almost black with moderate dark tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, fruity bourbon, vanilla, sweet dark fruit and slick roasted malts. Flavors of fruity dark chocolate, vanilla, kahlua, and oily roasted malts. Quite a warm finish but not distracting. Very good.

Den som venter på noe godt venter alltid for lenge, så her er det bare å benytte anledningen (hjemme alene-kveld mens Daglig Leder er på venninnetreff i Bergen), og stereoanlegget er i full gang. 0,33 brukerdose: nesten helt svart med kort skum. Bjørnebær fra brygga, bringebær fra Vølstad, feit kakao/mørk sjokolade, alkosødme og Sibelius symfoni nr 1 med LSO og Sir Colin Davis - life is good!

Enjoyable, quite sweet, lots of jammy berries, some chocolate syrup, bit if boozy kick, cocoa, earth, raisins. Decadent but still rather drinkable.

Can at CBJ, thanks to me. Near clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, a mild viscosity, decent fine carbonation. Good dark chocolate malts, tangy, yeah, the chocolate brownie vibe comes through, a little vanilla. Chocolate liqueur boozy spice. Airy smooth finish. Tidy pasty, boozy but very drinkable.

330 ml can in cardboard cylinder, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 15%. Black colour, moderate to small brown head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate brownies, cocoa, bourbon, vanilla, coffee and oak. Very sweet and malty flavour, with the same elements. A dessert beer, I recommend sharing the can.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Roelzie, Koenzie, Mimi, Anne, Romy, Meindert en Tessa tijdens een Tasting met Mimi @Tom. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van Bourbon en vanille. De smaak is vol chocolade, gebrande mout, Bourbon en vanille.
