Very hazy amber beer, good fluffy cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Smooth caramel malts, some thin malt cream. Mild hop spice. Tangy orange and marmalade hops. Mild pine and tangerine. Trace of mango. Light finish leaves a fruity spicy linger. It’s a little malt forward but a tasty number.

Bottle shared in High Wycombe - picked up at Hop Locker. Pours clearish deep gold with a deep, creamy head. The nose holds hefty pine, ripe orange, citrus rind. Medium sweet flavour with pale bread, oily pine, melon, orange. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming and resinous in the finish with more gooey pine, ripening orange, some papaya. Really fun and hearty overall.

Bottle at home, 30th October 16. Aroma is muted, some booze, pine maybe. Taste is strangely lacking for a beer this strength, sweet, boozy, lack of hops perhaps. Not very good, but drinkable and inoffensive.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 16 Sep 2016) Hazy amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, resin and grapefruit. Malty, fruity taste with orange marmalade, grapefruit, caramel and a bitter-sweet finish with generous doses of fresh citric hops. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness.Solid and well made IIPA with lots of hops and malt to match. Very nice.

Keg at Red Squirrel, High Wycombe. Pale amber with a thin white head. Big whiff of pink grapefruit, sweetened lemonade and a touch of tropical fruits and pine. Pine rather more to the fore in the sweet and sticky first sip with bitter grapefruit coming through as I drank more. Still generally sweet though. Shared a half of this and enjoyed it, bit felt I’d have gone off it quite rapidly if I’d had much more.
