Bottle picked up from Edeka at München Hbf 26th Nov 2025 and consumed the same day on the train to Augsburg, however directly from the bottle so I can only give an average score for appearance. Listening to Tortoise - Touch, and eating my homemade cheese and ham rolls and a packet of crisps. Taste is pretty good for a alcohol free beer and has similarities to the N/A Augustiner offering. There's a nice soft mouthfeel, lingering bitterness and hops are noted throughout on both aroma and taste. Also the lack of the usual taint is a bonus. For the category this is a good beer.

Clear dark golden with a fluffy head. Salt and minerals, grainy, strawy, citrusy, buttery. Mild dryness bitterness, grainy corny sweetness, slightly salty. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry grainy salty citrusy finish. Quite a good NA Helles, quite similar to Augustiner Alkoholfrei, no doubt they got the inspiration from them…

"Tegernseer Hell Alkoholfrei", Flasche von der Getränketanke, Kochel am See, 10.5.2025. - Goldgelb, blank.

Drunk from the bottle at Haus Hammer while reading Joe Abercrombie. Not bad, but not amazing either. It's pretty thin, hints of maltiness and a weird almost-molasses-but-not-quite taste in the mid to end of the palate. Hop bitterness is present but not really identifiable. Still, a decent effort on a style where it's really hard to make a tasty alcohol free beer.
