Bottle at the Taps Better Beer Festival 2015, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light malt, hay, citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a toothpaste, light citrus palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at the chriso Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Big citrusy and pissy hops in the nose, underscored by pale bready malts. Light sweet flavor with notes of grapefruit, pith, pee, peach. Light in body with average carbonation. Clean finish, pithy, with more citrus and tropical fruits, light minerals, pale bread sweetness. Good session IPA.

330ml bottle. Gold amber colour with a white foam head and aroma of fruit cordial, elderflower, pineapple, passionfruit. Taste is malt caramel, slighty biscuity, with a fair amount of citrus grapefruit bitterness plus some fruity, passionfruit hoppiness and yeasty notes. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry dusty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Barely a head. Some stewed fruit to this, which I didn’t expect. Some tea, too. Not much else really. Drinks thin, with a light fruit bitterness. Soft carbonation. Finishes bitter, with some tannic tartness. A bit odd. Not for me, whatever it is.

Keg at CASK. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is sweet, doughy, straw, juicy, pineapple, apricot and apple. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, straw, breadth malts, lemon rind and pepper with a pretty dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a game changer, but a solid hoppy pale anyhow.
