Hazy gold beer, big white head. Palate is airy and crisp. Bretty minerally start. Dry seltzer. Airy malts. Little fresh orange. Light dry finish. All right but not sure it was meant to be this bretty.

500ml bottle from Yorkshire Ales. Clear golden colour, foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, lemon sherbert, citrusy hop. Taste is sweetish, malt caramel with tropical fruit pineapple, woody pine, earthy yeasty notes and lots of grapefruit hoppy bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish with alittle residual sweetness. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy, dark yellow colour. Plenty of carbonation helps keep alive a bubbly, sticky, white head. Lovely grapefruit pith, juicy lime, soft creamy toffee aroma. Taste is creamy sweet at first, then a pithy, crunchy, mouth watering bitterness takes charge. Long, mineral, bitter finish. Very nice.

Tap at the Black Country Arms, Walsall. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is hop, citrus, light malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a hoppy bitter malt palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask, gravity at Harbury Beer Festival, Harbury, Warwickshire, 03.09.11 Pours hazy warm gold with a filmy white head. Good depth of flavour, lemony with a dab of grapefruit, a vein of sweetness runs throughout. Lovely balanced bitterness, a very likeable beer. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4
