Bottle from Tesco, Brighouse. Reddish brown with no head. Has a sweet-malt aroma and taste. Has a fruitiness but nothing too special.

500ml bottle: BBD 24 Feb 15. Opened while working in a hot kitchen (at home) on 13 Oct 14. Looked good, pours a deep amber with a reddish hue, on top an off-white crown. Aroma of hops and dark berries with just a hint of malty molasses.. Taste of semi-bittering hops, biscuity malts and fruitiness. OK and an ideal beer to cook with: not going to trouble your senses but worth having a bottle to yourself.

Red-brown colour. Aroma has plenty of malt and some sweet red fruits. Flavour is a bit bland but has some muted caramelly malts and sweeter fruity elements from the hops.

Cask at the Duke’s Head, Wokingham. Reddish chesnut in colour with a loose cream head; orchard fruit aroma; soft, fruity and sour in th emouth with a malty body that’s full and satisfying; and a lingering sweet malt finish. Good, even if I didn’t pick up the Pacific hops.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy white head. The nose has some sweat, grapefruit, melon. Light sweet flavor with cheap citrus, golden raisin, bread, wholegrains. Light bodied with average carbonation. OK balance to finish , some further grains , breD, dried berries. Ho hum.

Bottle at ChrisO. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty, caramel, red berry, brown sugar and candy. The taste is sweet, candy, sticky caramel, candy, wood, mild alcohol and grassy bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Ho hum. A bit weak and sweet.

Bottle courtesy from Tesco Extra, Aylesbury, Bucks’, consumed at home Sunday 26th May 2014 Pours reddy/amber with a reddy glint, off white head, it looks good but then it all goes downhill from there. Touch tinny mixed with a bit of cheap blue cheese on nose. Taste is similar it certainly does not provide me with any tropical aromas or flavours. Not great. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov3 2.9
