A beguiling ale, this stout’s enticing cocoa aromatics build to a flavorful crescendo of full bodied dark chocolate, subsiding with a pleasantly sweet, tart raspberry jam laced finish. On tap at Devil Craft Hamamatsucho, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is full of gently tart raspberries, roasted malt and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is full of juicy raspberry, light roast, and a touch of cocoa. Much lighter than the bourbon version I recently had. Good.

(Thin) Can from Chris J, thanks! Black with a small head. Nice raspberry nose. Very nice blending of the roasty stout flavors with raspberry, coffee and cacao hints, really a very nice stout.

Can. Black color with beige head. Aroma is intense raspberry, chocolate. Taste is frozen raspberries, chocolate, rather simple but not bad. A bit mineraly mouthfeel with low carbonation. Not bad.

Darkest brown. Aroma is raspberry cocoa dark chocolate melasses. Taste is some sour raspberry with chocolate and dense malt. Pretty dry. Chocolate finish. Intense.

Can at Ratebeer tasting at Daves, Unterhaching, München, Friday 4th February 2022. Pours black with a filmy head, lots of raspberry, chocolate, roasted bitterness, soft but lovely tangy raspberry. This is super nice 👍

Keg @ København, Halifax. Black with a light brown creamy head. It has subtle raspberry notes that subdues but compliments its light roasted malts. There’s some sweetness and its strength is hidden.

Roast and subtle raspberry. Dark chocolate. Great balance. Black pour with mocha head. Sharp bitter end with a touch of tang. Very well done. Bottle.
