Keg at Piwpaw Beer Heaven, Warsaw, 06/04/17. Very light haze on a golden blonde pour with a well presented off white cap. Nose is nectarine, sweet and fleshy fruit esters, perfumed tones, straw, subtle red wine oak aromas. Taste comprises mellow barrel, red grape must, plums, ripe fruits, vinous, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, Decent enough saison.

Taste comprises smoked malts, biscuit crumbs, orange peel, light citric tinged straw, bread, touch of plastic/chemical notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with astringent bitterness but overwhelmed by smoke. Average ... lacks balance.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Salty, slightly peaty-smoky and citrusy-tart-ish aroma, hints of lemon, salted lemon, quince, ham, sticking-plaster. Taste is smoky, minimally salty, citrusy and herbal, hints of salami, lemon, salted lemon, a touch of sage, cautious peaty and ashy overtones; watery-oily, emulsion-like texture, light body, minimally watery palate.
