True to style, has the light feel, drinkability, yet totally irish-style yeast ferment. Not bitter thank god, just is exactly what it’s supposed to be. But not perfect to my palate, just some balance of flavours and body; slightly dry for the style. Drank at amundsen in Oslo

On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. Pours black with light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, smoked ham, some smoke, caramel. Tastes sweet with little bitterness. Medium bodied.

Well stored bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a small beige head. Aroma is slightly oxidized with alcohol, coffee and dark malt, very nice actually. Taste is smooth malt, dark chocolate, coffee and warming alcohol, less oxidized in flavor than expect from aroma. Fine body and OK aftertaste. Nice but not amazing.

KØLF 060320. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is cocoa, coffee, chocolate, licorice, roasted malt, dried fruit, alcohol. Very nice beer.
