(Bottle) Pours slightly hazy straw with small white head. Subtle lemony citrus aroma. Light body, medium carbonation. Initially citrus and light biscuity malt, quickly replaced by flinty hoppy bitterness. A bit odd but goes down ok.

(Bottle) Pours a clear mid brown with red hints and small off-white head. Subtle aroma with notes of toast and maybe hints of nuts and dark toffee. Medium body with medium carbonation. Maybe a hint of fruit in the foretaste; burnt toffee / very dark roast malt notes quickly emerge and give a long burnt bitter finish. Not at all what I expect for a Kriek - couldn’t detect the cherries and it’s quite a bitter beer.

22nd July 2016
Cellar clean out session Pt Deux. Hazy amber beer, patchy cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Dry but sweetish malts, a little toffee. Ripe fruits. Cherry? Went through on stilts I think. Dry finish. A dull dull beer and very lame.
