Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is just like fresh baked cookies. A big cinnamon and brown sugar with a sweet raison. Flavor is a little less stellar then the aroma but I do get a sugary uncooked cookie dough with more cinnamon and a bit of banana bread. I’m a sucker for heavily spiced ales and this is a spice laiden beer. It is an abundance of spice and quite nice on a cold evening.

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish amber, medium beige head, dissipates slowly with good lacing. Aroma is huge cinnamon, ginger, raisin. Flavor is over the top spices, kind of pumpkin spice like, loads of ginger which I don’t think is in an oatmeal raison cookie, hints of clove and ditto, plus vanilla and cinnamon. Perhaps medium sweet, light bitter, some acidity as well. Medium body, high carbonation. This is definitely not the beer for me.

8% 22oz bomber pours with a nice dark body that supports a mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up big dark roasted coffee, thin black strap molasses, dark chocolate and some spicy hoppiness. The taste is smooth and on the rich side with near oily dark roasted coffee deepness as well as a pleasing sweet base of malts and dark chocolate. In the background are some bitter hops but they’re a bit illusive to put words to. Solid brew.

Bomber from Olive Tree Market. Nose is huge amounts of roasty coffee with some dark chocolate and a hint of lactic acid. Black with a big cinnamon tan head that laces lightly. Flavor is roasted, roast, and more roast; one of the biggest expresso stouts I’ve had. If you love coffee and expresso you will love this one.
