RBESG pt 18. Moncada. Grand Tasting. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy and soft. Airy dark malts, little cream. Mild candy sweetness. A light dry finish with more candy sweetness, almost sherbet like. Different.

On tap at Stone 17th anniversary party. An unclear amber beer with a minimal off-white time light beige head. The aroma is mostly smoked and peaty, ham, some bonfire and fruity hops too. It’s quite dry, with a pleasant carbonation, medium body. Smoked ham and some bitterness and generic fruityness in the flavor. Similar finish. Far from the worst smoked I’ve had, but not impressive 130816
