Can from Systembolaget. Of course its a tad thin but overall this is a decent stab at a classic wear coast IPA at this alco free point.

Interesting Christmas beer, a nice love story between the U.S and Belgian knowledge, dry and bitter with a warm touch of toffee, 30.03.20, at Epalinges

Cracker malt with a little bit of toasted bread, with hints of apple, lemon, and grass, followed by a modest honey sweetness and a manageable floral bitterness. Tasty.

Bottled 4/2/25, drunk 8/4/25.
Clear as day, light amber-bronze. Medium-sized, off-white head.
Resin and caramel! I don't know why I'm surprised but it's just been so long. I avoid old school DIPAs like the plague. Some wood, tea, vanilla, black tea and PINE. And caramel. Not boozey, though.
Pine resin and balancing caramel. Sweet and bitter. Love it! It's been so long since I've had this nasty style that it tastes novel and enjoyable. Orange, tea, wood, white bread and caramel. It is balanced from all the sweet white bread and caramel. Pine and orange linger. It does seem more balanced than in the days of old. Still has that hop stink/sweat earthiness. Fun. Would probably not want to drink this too many more times. A few times every decade.

From Heinrich 3000, Kornwestheim. A solid American IPA, good bitterness, deep at the palate, citrus and sweet, orange peel, 13.04.19, savouring it with pleasure at Epalinges.

Light hazy golden with a white head - Fruity and herbal hop aroma - malt body with a herbal hop flavour and good bitterness - Herbal hop flavours and bitterness goes into a long fnish that ends dry - This was good

It is a classical IPA, smooth for the style, creamy, pineapple, papaya, tropical fruits, hoppy but not at the extreme, 11.06.18, buying this beer at the bootlegger, Paris, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz

Pour is a dark but clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is bready and grain malt but very lacking. Flavor is some grainy malt and some generic fruity hops with accompanying bitterness. More "traditional" than Americanized marzen's but I kind of like the darker more toasted versions. This was just ok.

Very nicely done, and a step up from the Phantom Torpedo I just had in this mixed pack. And that was already well done. Pine, grapefruit. Some unripe pineapple. Clear golden pour with decent head. Bitter end. Nice balance, nice body. Can.
