Bomber from PC Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. Pours light orange gold with a minimal white head. Well, now, the aroma is not so subtle cat pee. Full bodied with very frothy carb. The flavor is cat pee that is refined. Over a bit of caramel backbone. But the cat pee aspect is amazing. Fortunately I do have a backup bomber. The finish is so hoppy. I’d like to write citrus, and probably should, but cat pee just seems so damn appropriate. These guys nailed a great beer.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy brassy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is very unusual - herb? My nose feels there was sour. Med body. I’m thinking cinnamon, perhaps ginger? Some mild but definite sour aspect, could be citrus, but? This finishes spicy, dry, and arguably a tad sour. Very, very different. Very good. Too good to be in the (often) tasteless ale category.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours dark ruddy amber with a frothy beige head. Aromas of rye spice and floral. Lush. Med+ body. Flavor is rye, citrus and floral. Get’s a little confusing as flavors come and go. It’s bitter, somewhat astringent, and the finish is very rye spice. Just excellent.

Tap at the West Coast Brewfest. Pours orange gold with a white head. Odd citrus/eucalyptus aromas. Med body. Flavor is citrus, weeds and floral. Apparently there’s lavender in this. Very nice.

On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Pours a very dark color with hints of brown and a medium thick white head. The aroma is roast and sweet grainy caramel notes. A very rich thick beer with sweet chocolates, roast, light ash, very tasty. Darn good.

Bottle. Cloud orange with thick white head. Bready, herby and floral aroma. Flavour drops off quickly, a little herb, a little spice and somewhat watery finish. Still worth drinking.

22 oz bomber courtesy of bvc. The pour is mostly clear yellow golden, with a three inch white head that falls rocky with a noisy crackling bubbles. The aroma is bready hay, cracker, light citrus, some herbal yeast character in the back. Soft, integrated and fresh. The taste is the bready malt, hay grass, herbal light lemon, finishes some more herbal sweet yeast spice. The palate is medium to light bodied, lower carbonation, lingering herbal. Overall, a tasty beer, though I would have liked a bit more crispness to the flavor and finish. Thanks Brandon.

A pale blonde kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, a light swet malt with light mineral notes. In mouth, a chalky malt with smooth German hops, mineral notes, so-so. On tap at OBF Fringe Fest Belmont Station, July 30 2011.

Sampled on tap for IIPA fest @ Saraveza, pours dark golden orange with a white head. Aroma of herbal hops, some caramel / butterscotch, and a little pot-like. Flavour of herbal hops, caramel and a metallic finish. A little metallic, though it could be the keg - nonetheless, that's how it sits. Decent.
