Can at Emporium NOLA. Pours a gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has pine and citrus rind with some grain and light resin underlying. Flavor combines pine and light citrus rind with a touch of grass and a light grain backbone.

This 12 oz can comes to me from the local retailer, Mr. T’s. I open the can, lift into my Great Heights tulip glass. A pale, off-yellow liquid with a representative, arctic white head. It has an inviting nose, tropical and a small indication of pine. I lift the glass for a drink, pineapple, some grapefruit, mango and hops. For as sweet as it is, there is is a decent little bitterness at the end. Okay, not great.

Can Liz brought from Vin Carre. Pours orange tinged gold with a creamy white head. Aroma suggests orange citrus with light malt support. Med body. Flavor is fairly dry, at least moderately bitter, and definitely has orange citrus aspects. Decent IPA.

12 oz can from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours an opaque dark vegetable juice color with a small light purple head and fair retention. Lots of floaties/ pulp throughout. Almost no lacing. Yes, it has a berry aroma. Sturdy wheat ale base beer, with a lighter berry flavor than I expected based on the color. Medium body and light carbonation. Subdued sweetness. Not bitter. Thankfully, it tastes better than it looks.
