Bottle @ Exira Beer Summit III. Thanks to bnielsen13! Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a big white head. Herbal, veggie, corn, a bit tangy aroma. Tangy, chewy herbal, corny flavor. Not good.

Light yellow and cloudy. Some yeast and lots of sugar, but lacking complexity or spiciness. Sweet.

22 oz bomber purchased at Zipps in Minneapols, Minnesota. The pour is a hazed yellow golden, with a smallish white head. The aroma is sweet ester yeast, clove, and behind that the wheat grain. The taste is the clove, wheat grain, sweet esters, and gets a strange bubblegum flavor towards the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft natural carbonation, abd the clove yeasty finish. Just ok.

22 oz bomber purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is mostly clear copper golden with a one inch white head that fell fairly quick. The aroma is a nice resin character, along with sweet maltiness. As the beer warmed, the aroma picked up a bit of earthy herbal, along with signs of alcohol. The taste starts with the malt sweetness, some herbal floral to the sweet, along with a touch of the resin bitterness of the nose. The earthiness of the aroma gives way to a bit of a pepper vegetal that didn’t really work too well with the malt sweetness. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft natural carbonation and a dry mostly clean finish. The 9% is pretty well disguised. Decent enough.

Bottle @ Brad’s house Minneapolis, courtesy of bnielsen13. Thanks Brad! Pours a golden yellow appearance with a white head. Garlic, light onion, fairly potent dank, grapefruity hoppy aroma that’s very well hopped. Somewhat bitter, onion, marijuana, floral hoppy flavor. Pretty tasty.

22 oz bomber purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is hazed yellow golden with a one inch white head that falls with decent lacing. The aroma is floral, bread, hay, along with sweet malt. The taste is the bready hay and sweet malt, floral herbal hops behind that. The palate is light to medium bodied, low rough carbonation, and a bit of dirtiness in the finish.

At Winterfest 2012. The aroma has alcohol up front, I smell bourbon, but I am not sure that is what it is. Very sweet flavor, and an alcohol bite on the palate. Well hopped, balancing the sweetness.

Winterfest 2012. A sweet, smooth imperial stout. Alcohol in the aroma and also the flavor, which is fine for the style. A rich beer. Good.

Pours golden yellow with middling head. Aroma of hops and grains. Flavor is lightly hoppy, with some licorice notes in the background. All in all, not a bad beer, but nothing to write home about, either.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has some grassy hops with a hint of bitterness from grapefruit and a bit of earthy grains. Flavor has some sweet grains up front with a nice hop combination with grapefruit and grass notes.
