On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy light amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of bread and sweet grains with a touch of light fruit underlying. Flavor has a earthy fruit and bread with some straw underlying.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear deep gold with a copper hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a combination of crisp grass and light pine with a wheat backbone. Flavor is similar with a nice grass and pine combo with a wheat note underlying.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of straw, hay and sweet grains with light musty flora. Flavor has strong flora and a slight chemical note with sweet grains underlying.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear amber brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains and light roasted malts with a touch of chocolate. Flavor is sweet with cookie and dark grains with a light nuttiness and some roasted malts.

Winterfest 2016. Carbonation is good, highly carbonated. flavor and aroma are light. some banana, lightly roasted grain, and some light sweetness. The flavors good, but too light and it does not yet stand up to the better German examples.

Sampled from the tap at the 2015 Minnesota Winterfest. Pours a near clear earthy amber with a touch of orange and a bubbly tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of bourbon with strong sweet grains and a bit of toffee supporting. Flavor has a good amount of bread with sweet grains and bourbon underlying.

Draft at GTMW. pretty much black color, tan head. Aroma of roasty cocoa, pine. Taste is bitter coffee and unsweet chocolate. Nice.
