From a bottle. They achieved a good gose flavor, heavy on the coriander. Some sweet malt and the salt is there as well. Light, airy palate. Very mild sour flavor.

GABF 2012. Pours with a crystal clear yellow hued body with a fading white head. Aromas are citrusy and piney with light resin, grassy and lightly grainy notes. Flavors are floral, citrusy and bitter, mild malt. Lasting bitter duration with lively carbonation.

Draft at Acadia during RBSG. From notes. Malty with belgian yeast. Banana and clove with just a slight fruity hint on the end. Pretty good.

Pours a watery, darkish-red brown. Small head quickly fades. Fruity, almost chemical aroma. Flavor is a very strong woody taste, with some malt and hops. Count me among those who think there’s too much wood in this one--almost overpowering.

Pours a dark copper amber, with minimal head. Citrus, grapefruit aroma. Flavor is dominated by a strong grapefruity character, with some hop bite and quite a bitter finish. One of the best beers I’ve had yet from Lucid.

Pours a dark chocolate-brown, with (in my case) a huge, pillowy head. Maybe I got a bottle that was over-carbonated or something, but this was spraying out once I uncapped it. The aroma has some roasted grain in it and some alcohol notes. Flavor contains some chocolate and some roasted grain, but is largely of leather, with a strange, lingering sourness at the end of it, like a wild yeast or something snuck into this. I don’t think I’d drink another bottle, but it was worth a try.

Firkin Fest 2013. Red color. Moderate hops in the aroma and the flavor. Bitter from the hops, and I can taste the vanilla. Light palate, and I am not sure the hops and vanilla work so well together.
