Tasty brew this Ubu. Drank it a bit during college in Central NY. Dark red color. Nice, light head. Tasted notes of chocolate and caramel with a nice hops balance. Ubu!

12oz bottle. Red-black color, opaque. Deep malty aroma with a hint of brandy. Sweet malty taste, balanced by some minimal hops and a warming finish. Some chocolate and coffee tones, but a little more spicy and pungent than typical. Very drinkable and smooth, a pretty good beer.

Dark brown with red glimts and a medium deep beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and burned cadramel. Flavour was sweet with plenty of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee notes. Finished sweet.

This one came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright ruby-copper color with a small yellow-white head. The aroma was strong piney and fruity hops. The flavor was sweet, tart and lightly fruity with a mildly fruity and piney hop presence. The beer turned a bit dry towards the finish and the finish was long and tart. Nicely drinkable but nothing to seek out.

This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-brown color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was a lovely mix of sweet malts, chocolate and ripe fruit. The flavor was sweet and malty with a light roasty undertone and notes of chocolate brownies and ripe fruits. The mouthfeel was fairly thick and smooth. Very nice!

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is lots of floral hops with a very slight malt. Flavor is again a floral and citrus hop but a bit bland around the edges. Not overly hopped that’s for sure. Still this is a decent IPA, just the right amount of hops goodness without overpowering.

Pour is a dark red with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice chocolate malt with a big helping of roasted nuts. Flavor is a nice mix of chocolate and caramel malts with a bit of a nutty aftertaste. I would recomend this beer as it is pleasing to all the sences and looks good as well.

Cloudy dark amber. Earthy-piney aroma with bright peachy notes and dark caramel. On the palate, it has an earthy, slightly woody character, again with bright fruity accents. Lingering bitter finish.

My days beer journey continues back to my house. Bought this single bottle out of a 6er yesterday. Fridged for about 24 hours and poured it into a Celebrator glass (I am still gaga over it and pouring everything into it). Color is translucent light brown/dark amber. Well, its a hoppy beer in the vain of most American Pale ales (i.e. Oscar Blues Dale). However, i felt this had more of a malt backbone. A bit of bitterness at the end of the beer. If I had to drink on APA, this would probably be it.
