Description
Southbourne Ales are designed as a complete range of traditional ales with something for everyone’s taste. Quality beer that is just what you expect ranging from a light ale to an oatmeal stout that all leave you wanting another.

The brewery is also working on a second brand Tingay’s which will be producing a range of beers that are more modern and new to the UK spectrum. First experiments with an APA have been successful with more styles coming soon.

440ml can along the river on a balmy Summer's evening. Pours gold with a light mist, good fluffy white head. Untappd has this as a golden ale, and I quite enjoyed it as a nicely fruity golden ale, surprisingly colourful, almost bubblegummy. If drunk as an American Pale Ale, perhaps may have considered it out of style a little and not quite hitting the mark. Strange. Enjoyed it anyway that's the main thing.

Bottle from Grumpy Goat, Reading. Despite having been sat in my bag for some time this seemed to be somewhat wild as I opened it whilst waiting for a cab. Malty bitter aroma. Light brown. Frothy white head. Light-medium bitter. Malty. Thin. Light. Fizzy carbonation. Nice enough but not overly interesting.
