Bottle at cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - amber with a light haze. Nice lacy head. Nose - honey and pale malt. Taste - crunchy malt and light orange. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - a bit gnarly but solid.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2016. Black stout with its vanilla notes dominating proceedings, and helping to subdue a clear strength. There’s lots of spice in its nose too.

Fra cask på Union Inn, Plympton 25 Sep 16. Ultramørk amber. Såvidt litt skum langs glasset. God aroma av mørke plommer. Smaken sherryaktig. Søt. Lett tørr ettersmak.

And so it came to pass that six like minded people met on the 20th day of November in the year of 2016: those six people shared twenty five fine beers. This is one of those twenty five. 33oml bottle. Golden amber pour, thin white head. The hoppy, fruity nose with a slight citrusy lead gives way to a biscuity maltiness in the taste which in turn becomes more hoppy in nature as the mouth drys after each sip. Decent.
