Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/19/2016. Dark brown color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, hops and a bit of fruit. Medium body with flavors of sweet malt and honey, earthy hops and a touch of citrus. The finish is roasty malt and herbal honey. Above average overall.

12 oz. can. Dark, ruby brown color, with a small, dense, tan head. Nose is milk chocolate and light coffee, pecans, and syrup. Sweet and malty flavor, with a mild, pleasant bitterness. Medium body, grainy, and a bit sharp. This is a nice, full bodied, and well made brown ale. Nothing too crazy, but solid and tasty.

12 oz can from Whole Foods Wine and Spirits in Boulder, 11/24/15. It pours a mostly clear golden color with a thin white head that leave a coat of spotty lacework. The aroma is citrus / grapefruit hops, some rye bread spice, and a bit of pine as well. Nice hoppy flavor profile with a good rye malt backbone. Clean and decently bitter, not over the top, but well balanced and very enjoyable. Light-medium bodied, crisp and dryish on the close.
