Hazy copper coloured body with a ruby and pink glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, hay, cherries, light sugars and a dose of cardboardie funk. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal flavours throughout with some pronounced cherry and almond flavours along with a dose of coriander seed, hay, dry yeast and a little bit of alcohol near the end. Aftertaste is deep with cherries (not sweet though), malt, light metal, a dose of grass and hay coupled with some herbal flavours and ending with more yeast and funky qualities which show decently well. Overall, a decent grassy-ish beer but far from a saison, and probably actually closer to a fruit beer, but kind of removed from every style, but at least showing character and depth. Decent to try, but not worth going out of the way for by any means or bringing back about 2/3 of the way across the country - save the room in the suitcase for something else. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado on 07-June-2017 for US$2,69 sampled at home in Washington on 26-August-2017.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is dark reddish brown (like a cola), no discernible sparkle, finger-width beige foamy head with poor retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malts, toast, light vanilla and citrusy and earthy hops. Taste is moderate roasted malt with late earthy, resin bitterness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and more bitter than sweet finish. Overall, aroma is promising but taste pales in comparison with a palate that’s too thin.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/25/2017. The beer is a dark reddish-orange color with a thick fluffy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Malt, fruit and hops in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, banana and earthy hops. The finish is fruity with a banana aftertaste. Decent overall.

Deep dark brown body with a thick, 3 centimetre tall dark tan head. Aroma of nice dank hops with a big roast presence that balances out nicely. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour of resinous and herbal hops that show well over top of the big roasted maltiness and finishes off nicely with some light sweetness. Aftertaste is clean and pungent - the hops are direct and show very well, and the malt ends the beer nice and dry. Overall, a very nice Black IPA with a great hop flavour balanced nicely with a good roasty malt finish. Nice to sample, especially super fresh & from a can! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado on 15-March-2016 for US$2,00 sampled in my hotel room in Cheyenne, Wyoming a day later on 16-March-2016.

This beer pours a clear dark amber color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit, caramel and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of astringent fruit, sweet caramel malt and yeast. The finish has a tinge of solvent along with ripe fruit and malt. Below average overall.
