… and England have failed to qualify for the World Cup, 2 Unlimited are Top of the Pops with their dance smash No Limit, Shane Warne has bowled the ‘Ball of the Century’ and Rooster’s Brewing Co. has just hatched - forever changing the shape of beer in the UK. Originators and innovators of quality, new world pale ales, with an emphasis on flavour and aroma, our beers start to stand out and turn heads amongst a sea of brown beer, with Yankee (our flagship pale ale) leading the way.

Chestnut brown with a bubbly / frothy light tan head and a rich fruit cake aroma. Medium bodied, a little chewy, nutty fruit cake with a slug of brandy, brown sugar, sharp little kicks ahead of a dry and slightly bitter finish.

Deadication beer to born on this day in Rhode Island in 1911, Oscar nominated actress Ruth Hussey. Autumnal style beer, lots of rye and malts giving proceedings quite an earthy feel, although not a particularly flavoursome one. Despite the blandness it's crisp water and easy going.
