From the moment they started they knew they weren’t cool. They didn’t have beards and attempts at growing them were simply humiliating and a little embarrassing for them and their families. So they set aside their rose scented facial wax and tiny combs and focused on what they knew best… brewing quality beer (and dinosaur puns)!
Hatched in 2015 by three clean shaven friends with an obsession for beer and dinosaurs, Staggeringly Good have quickly become known as one of the UK’s leading breweries ranking consistently in the TOP 20 in the country on Untappd.’
Yes it’s all got a little out of control since we first uttered the sentence ‘Hey shall we get together on Sunday and brew some beer?’. Now there are grown up things like bills and stuff, but don’t worry we’re not going to let that get in the way of us having a grain sack load of fun. Catch you at the tap room soon dino-riders!

Hazy gold with a small bubbly white head. Decent session pale with a soft fruity nose, nicely fizzy with sweet fruity notes, soft citrus bitterness and a bittersweet finish

[December 2023] Clear mahogany brown with a frothy off-white head and a leafy, slightly nutty aroma. Light bodied, on the watery side, with sweet malt, some caramel/toffee and old school floral hop bitterness, finishes pretty dry

Has the look of murky pondwater to be honest, hints of pink and brown coming through, no noticeable head. Raspberries, strawberries and cream on the nose. Fresh and zingy, creamy smooth with pineapple sharpness, tart berry fruit and a dry finish

Cask at Egham Beer Fest Summer 24. Aroma is creamy coconut led. Chocolate in the mix. Lighter brown - looks like a well brewed milky tea. Foamy beige head soon recedes. Tastes like an alcoholic chocolate and coconut milk drink. An underlying bitterness and slight sour hint gives the booze away. Thick. Oily. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Oh yeah.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, fairly sweet, a thinnish creamy sweetness. Hops bring a light crisp pine into a good juicy and slightly floral citrus spread. Fairly bright orange and tangerine - mandarin. Whisper of tropical fruits. Smooth light finish. Tidy.

12/VII/24 - 44cl can @ Katie’s UK beer tasting (@home), BB: 30/XI/25 (2024-545) Thanks to Katie for the awesome beer tasting!
Cloudy brown to light brown beer, no head whatsoever. Aroma: very sweet and sugary impression, caramel, cocoa powder, malty, grains, hay, some cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very malty start, grains, hoppy touch, more grains, gentle roast, some chocolate, pretty oxidized, cardboard. Aftertaste: chocolate, a bit sweet, more oxidation, cardboard, malty, grains, hay, cocoa powder, bitter, fake ersatz chocolate, not really great, alas. The can with the best label design, had the worst beer in it tonight. :(

Cask by stillage at the Cockpit, Chislehurst on 29th June 2024. Solid sepia brown with pale tan foam and pattern lacing. Spiced roastiness in aroma. Dark chocolate, aniseed and spiciness in-mouth, and a herbal roasty finish. Quite an interesting set of flavours for a stout. Light to medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel.
