4 oz. sample at the brew pub. Medium brown color. Ok, hard to excited about a brewpub brown ale. Mild nutty hint in the finish of a very light bodied brown ale. Only good for somebody with entry level craft beer drinking.

4 ounce taster at the brew pub. 4 oz. Crystal clear amber color, no head. Nose caramel and toffee, flismy malt backbone. Taste has light sweetness, some old toffee. Body is mostly watery. Another thin amber ale. Typical brewpub Amber with little character.

4 oz. taster at the source. Appearance is a clear orange, aroma is citrus, caramel, weak herbal. Caramel is not overpowering. Lower bitterness. Again, sure it fairs better on draft than a bottle sitting on a shelf.

4 oz. taster at the source.Pours a clear gold, some head. Aroma of mild pine, bread citrus. Flavor is very traditional. Two classic C’s hops with a mild bitterness and decent light malt backbone. If in Sedona, it would be a simple drinker in a bottle

12oz bottle from Top Shelf Liqours, Cottenwood, AZ. A golden amber colour with a ring of white head; sweet malty aroma with a touch of spice; thin in the mouth with a caramel malt taste; and little in the way of hops of finish.

I got this bottle from tayner. Thanks Dana!
It pours a clear(turns slightly hazy with second pour) yellow gold with about an inch of foam. Almost no lacing but the head retention is good.
The smell has notes of some malt and a touch of hop bitterness at first whiff. More whiffs in and I get "strong" notes of lemon.
The taste has some bready malt and a slightly bitter hop flavour. Swishing the beer in my mouth and the hops become a little more assertive..tastes lemony. There's also a flavour here that I can't quite put into words but it doesn't add in a positive way to the overall drinking experience.
Mouthfeel is very thin and carbonation is medium. Imho, it's not much of a step up from the typical Macro and maybe it's not a step up at all. I'm still glad I had a chance to try it because you *never* know how you'll feel about a brew until you try it. No matter what previous reviews say. ;^)
