500ml bottle. Deep yellow golden colour, some initial fizz, no head and aroma of tart apple, slight woody, hint of barnyard. Taste is dry sourish apple, oak, leather, slight barnyard & some straw. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, tart dry warming finish. Quite OK.

Light haze on this reddish amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Sweetish malt, a little cream. Sweet bubblegum ester and a touch of candy fruits. Dry finish. Nice take.

330ml bottle from Tesco - Deep red brown body, tan head... gone. Rather dull nose of coffee and cake fruits, bit of booze there. Flat mouthfeel, a bit syrupy at the end, more coffee and booze in the taste. Itโs okay, but Iโve had much better Dubbels.
