Grass, lemongrass, and coriander nose, very green. Hazy yellow, medium head with little retention. Malty, grassy, coriander, lemongrass flavor. Medium body, alcohol not noticed. Crisp clean finish. Full of flavor and complexity, but sessionable as a good wit should be. Quite nicely hopped without being what one might call a white IPA. Great job!

Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours orange amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruit/floral over mildly roasted caramel. Med body. Flavor is quite hoppy - but it’s fruit and floral, not harsh resin. Could be some citrus. It is full of hop. There’s some rough caramel in the backbone, but it’s all about the hop.

Baby food banana and peach nose with a certain rice character, good strength. Milky yellow, thin head. Flavor is still rice-like. A more typically lemony american wheat flavor predominates, but banana notes can be detected. No cloves. True enough to style, but only barely.

Thanks to Armin for this one - fizzy, lightly hazy rust color - seems to have picked up some color from the barrel - well, the aroma sure took a lot from the barrel - all I can smell is bourbon, vanilla, coconut, toasted oak - no tripel character at all - taste is much the same - there is some candi sugar and floral character, but the bourbon adds a sweet booziness and covers up the yeast character - very hot finish - messy.
