Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a moderate creamy white head. Light bready malt aroma with a touch of grass/spice. Med body or so. Somewhat malty but dry enough. Balanced grass/spice bitterness. Nice drink.

From Good Times Oakland, canned September 4th, which is a bit odd for them to send me a beer that is over 4 months old.
It pours a lightly hazy pale gold with foam, retention and lacing all excellent.
The smell is pine, very hoppy, some dankness, dry.
The taste is pine, some mild dankness, very dry and bitter. Toasted malt sneaks in occasionally.
Mouthfeel is fine, I just don't get the need to double dry hop a Pilsner.

On tap at Bottlecraft - Little Italy, pours a hazy bright copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has some faded earthy hops and light doughy notes. Flavour seems a bit faded, with bitter, earthy hops, a touch of pine, and bready malt. Doesn’t seem like it’s in optimal condition. Okay.

On tap at Bottlecraft - Little Italy, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has a nice roasted malt character—more than you expect from a Schwarzbier—with dry, earthy breadiness. Flavour has a deep malt structure, with dry cocoa, medium roast, and crusty, earthy rye bready notes. Great roast and dark cocoa. Excellent.

Redwood tip red ale. Sweetish red ale, light herbaceous notes…that it’s tree tips kicks in the finish.

Cask pint at Toronado in San Francisco, California. The pour is a slight haze golden copper with a cask foamy head that lasts. The aroma is grass and soft floral hop. Very fresh nose. The taste is really gentle, with great balance between a soft cereal cracker malt and the floral, softly fruit sweet, hop. There is more grass to the pleasantly lingering finish. The palate is light bodied with a soft natural cask body and a crisp, dry, super clean finish. Really nice.

Can thanks to Jack! Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice dry grass with notes of hay, straw and a slight herbal note supporting. Flavor has a nice grass and hay combination with straw and a slight herbal note underlying.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours light copper/amber with a slight, transient tan head. Nice aroma of amber malt and perhaps pepper (not Chili). Med body. Malty but dry. There's a hint of smoke up front. Some pepper, some melon, and definitely some grass/spice. Probably not smoke, but it seems rather like it. Smooth and tasty lager.
