On tap at Frisches Bier, München, Thursday 6th June 2019. Colour edging towards light/mid amber though the light is a little tricky in here sometimes, a white head sits atop. Nise is fruity, hoppy and citrus led. Perhaps a little too easy going and lacking a little distinctiveness for me, however its pretty good with a soft mouthfeel, steady if rather restrainted bitterness. Fruity, light juiciness, it's fine.

Tap. Surprisingly clear golden color with white head. Aroma is oats, caramel, salted popcorn. Taste resinous, caramel, oats, a touch cardboard. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not great.

Tap at Frisches Bier. Cloudy, amber, eggshell lace. Dusty grain, light mineral, grassy, herbal. Some edges, but interesting.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, dark malty and fruity aroma, hints of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, red and blue berries, rapsberry, blueberry, milk sugar. Taste is sweet-ish dark malty, hints of cocoa and chocolate, milk sugar, dry, roasty overtones, effervescent fruitiness; minimally overcarbonated.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to macropore, moderately lasting, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity aroma, notes of raspberry. Taste is wheaty, minimally strawy, slightly fruity, tart-ish hints of raspberry; minimally watery. So-so.

Bottle at a tasting. Med-full body, moderate carbonation. Fully roasty, coffee, chocolate, deep roast. Overall alcohol hidden well, relatively easy drinking. Good but not great.
