Draught at Delvino’s, 1/28/17.
Chill-hazy brass-golden body has a white head that is small and flimsy.
Leafy, peppery, perhaps slightly over-boiled hops in the nose mix with an English-like yeast character presenting basement, traces of butter and apple and finally light caramel and honey on the finish. No alcohol or flaw.
Moderately bitter, somewhat fizzy and not so much malty and soft as it is sticky and hard in the texure. A bit too much resin and bitterness with tons of fruit, specialty malts and light caramel. It’s drinkable but not by a longshot.
