Bottle. Pours black with a small head. Aroma is dark malts, licorice, spices, cola. Full-bodied, dark malts, lots of licorice. Quite good, a bit licorice heavy for me.

On tap at il Punto. A very pleasant hazy beer, more a new England pale ale than IPA. Very refreshing, fruity, citrus. Nice.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark reddish brown, with very fine light cream foam. Aroma is rich, of molasses and burnt caramel, a little nutty. Body is surprisingly thin for a 10% beer, but a little oily and sticky, with average carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, with some alcoholic feeling in the final.
