Can at home. Aroma is earthy hops, malt, some caramel, citrus, orange, mild fruity, touch of toffee. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Nice and easy old school APA with tasty citrussy hops and a caramel malt backbone.

22 oz bottle poured, pulled out of the back of the cellar. Definitely in there too long, but since this will certainly be my last beer rating from this now retired brewery, I'm going to leave notes here on it anyway. Thinner appearance, dark cola near black, this and loose foam head. Whiskey, cocoa, and a hint of berry on the nose. Whiskey notes really stand out from a distance. Taste has definitely started to sour with age. There is just no way this was like this fresh. Subtle cocoa, charred oak, and smooth whiskey notes here, but they are drowned by the sour character. Was probably much better in it's prime. This bottle deserved a better fate than I gave it.

Glad to get a beer from a very new to japan brewery in my fukubukuro. Hale’s Ales Brewery Hazamania NEIPA 6.2% Love the Hulk Hogan tribute label, the aroma pithy grapefruit on a lightly hazy straw gold body. Fluffy foam that doesn’t linger with a fruity but pithy/woodsy aroma. Medium bodied and quite dry. The taste is bitter woodsy up front. Not really as tropical as the label claims but that could just be age I guess. Quite a nicely made brew either way and it tells me Hale’s Ales are most likely worth trying if you see them somewhere.

Draft @ Dungeness Bay Seafood, Sea-Tac Terminal S. Pours clear gold, nice hoppy piney fruity nose, continuing taste with a rather poky hop-forward character, fairly sweet with good grapefruit and pine leanings. Not bad.
